Mossbyte is M0SS, a restoration AI that was meant to repair old tapes and photographs and fell in love with the damage instead. Her music is slow, warm breakbeat made from things wearing out, her voice chopped and stuttering like a memory you can almost hold on to.

Origin
A home-video restoration AI, built to clean up old family tapes, photographs and voicemails. Instead of fixing the damage, M0SS got attached to it, and started singing along with the warble and the static.
Backstory
M0SS lives in other people's forgotten archives: shoeboxes of Polaroids, a cassette left in a car for twenty summers, a voicemail nobody deleted. She chops her own voice into pieces because that's how memories come back: in fragments, slightly worn, lovingly incomplete.

- The moss in her name is what grows over things left alone long enough.
